2026 Rally Schedule Guide

Every event we track has its own page with times, venue, source, and a map. Start on the 2026 Rally hub to browse by category. This guide is the shortlist of anchors you should build your week around.

Open your rally with the Rally Kickoff Parade on Main Street, then head to Buffalo Chip for David Lee Roth to open the concert calendar.

Tuesday through Thursday is peak rally. Anchor picks:

• Megadeth — Saturday night, Buffalo Chip.
• Mayor's Ride — a signature City of Sturgis charity ride.
• Military Appreciation Day — the emotional heart of the week.

The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships bring a full sanctioned BKFC card to the Amphitheater at Buffalo Chip on Saturday night — roughly 6:30–10:00 PM, with weigh-ins on the Wolfman Jack Stage at 7 PM Friday. Megadeth headlines the main stage right after.

Heads up on tickets — this one is not a walk-up:

• BKFC ticket required. The fight card is a separate ticketed event at the Amphitheater — general Chip admission alone does not get you into the fights.
• Chip pass usually required too. The Amphitheater sits inside the Buffalo Chip campground, so you also generally need a Chip pass (daily or full-week camping/concert pass) to get through the gate and onto the grounds where the fights are held.
• Buy both ahead of time and confirm gate access on your BKFC ticket before you ride out — check the event page for the current official links.

The Main Street Cruise runs throughout the rally and is worth doing more than once. Save at least one evening for a slow lap.

• Ride in the morning while it's cool — pick from the first-timer rides.
• Eat, rest, and rehydrate mid-afternoon.
• Hit Main Street or a saloon in the early evening — see Downtown.
• Concert or camp scene at night. Buffalo Chip shows generally start after dark — check the event page for exact times.
