The Story

VibeHalf amphitheater, half campground city. 600 acres of pine trees, RVs, tents, bars and one of the most storied outdoor stages in rock and roll.

Founded in 1981 by Rod Woodruff, the Buffalo Chip pioneered the mega-Rally-campground model. Its Wolfman Jack Stage has hosted Aerosmith, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Guns N' Roses, KISS, ZZ Top, Kid Rock, Toby Keith and just about everyone else worth the trip. Locals just call it 'The Chip.'
